New Jersey personal and medical use of marijuana.
Medical Use: SB 119 signed by the Governor January 18, 2010. The law does not restrict employer action. Nothing in this act shall be construed to require a government medical assistance program or private health insurer to reimburse a person for costs associated with the medical use of marijuana, or an employer to accommodate the medical use of marijuana in any workplace.
Personal Use: There are several efforts under way to pass legislation permitting personal use of marijuana.
